Archiduc Special

Archiduc originated at Brasserie Duvieusart in Nivelles, where it was brewed from 1888 until the brewery ceased production in the mid-1950s; the recipe was later revived by Brasserie de Jandrain-Jandrenouille. The beer is described as amber and lemony, with floral, spicy, caramel, citrus and gently sweet-sour notes, and is distinctive for its traditional spicing and association with Nivelles’s Jean de Nivelles confraternity.
