La Pierreuse pale

Brasserie d’Oleye, also known as Brasserie du Geer, was founded in Oleye-Waremme in May 1994 by Didier Cornet and Chantal Romain; after the brewery closed in 2002, Pierreuse reportedly found a second life with Brasserie du Flo. The beer is documented at 8% ABV, while surviving tasting notes mention smoke, cherry, almond, tartness, wood and vanilla, giving this regional pale ale a distinctive aged and vinous character.
